Bayern Munich awaiting Tottenham’s response after submitting €100m bid for Harry Kane

Bundesliga winners Bayern Munich have made it clear that they want a response from Tottenham on whether they are ready to sell Harry Kane or not.

The Bavarians’ new offer for the 30-year-old is worth more than €100m with add-ons included. They also told Spurs chairman Daniel Levy that they had to respond until Friday.

Moreover, Kane wants to resolve his future before Tottenham’s opening Premier League game of the new season at Brentford on Sunday, August 13.

Bayern grow their frustration over the Harry Kane deal

Bayern have not been informed by Tottenham if they are willing to sell Kane. Moreover, this saga is getting more and more frustrating for them.

If Spurs are not willing to make a decision soon, Bayern will walk away from the deal and will look for another striker. Furthermore, reports suggest that there is still a £20 million gap in valuation.

However, the Bavarians believe they have improved on this and feel their proposal is fair and final. Kane has also entered his final year of contract, and this might be the last chance to cash in on their talisman.

Moreover, Harry Kane is not even considering renewing his contract at Tottenham. Kane is currently in his prime years, and wants to end his career with at least some trophies.

Who will replace Harry Kane if he leaves Tottenham?

Harry Kane has been the face of this Tottenham side for a long time. Moreover, the English striker has stepped up whenever his team needed him.

However, Kane wants a new challenge now and with Spurs unable to win any silverware since 2008, his departure seems fair.

Tottenham are interested in two strikers who can replace Kane. Porto striker Mehdi Taremi and Alejo Veliz from Rosario Central. Porto wants at least £26 million for the Iranian forward, and Spurs have already agreed on a deal for Alejo Veliz.

Spurs see Veliz as a talent to develop for the future, and the north London club have beaten other interested clubs to his signature.
