Barcelona star’s place robbed – Burglars cause a menance at Aubameyang’s house

The Barcelona Star was assaulted and robbed on Monday morning when four masked men entered Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang’s home soon after the player returned home after the 4-0 win over Valladolid.

The robbery took place around 1 am, the robbers entered the place armed and were equipped with iron bars, firearms. The Gabonese was reportedly threatened as the thieves forced the player and his wife to lie on the floor being handcuffed in their own house which was reportedly located at the seaside town of Castelldefels in Barcelona. The Barcelona strikers place was 200 meters far from the Ex-Barcelona players Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.

Aubameyang’s valuables robbed

The Barcelona star and his wife were left handcuffed on the for a sufficient period for the thieves to rob the valuables. Reportedly the robbers had forced the player to open his safe which contained jewelry, among expensive stuff. The burglars are said to escape the 33 year old’s place in his white Audi A3. Pierre and his wife also suffered with injuries as they were physically assaulted during the robbery. The player’s wife then called the police.

The robbery reportedly took place because of the rumors linking the player to move away from Barcelona to lower its wage bills because of its uncertain economic situation.

Last week Aubameyang’s teammate Robert Lewandowski’s watch was stolen too worth 70,000 $ from his car when he arrived for training.

Other Catalan stars to have been robbed

These robberies take place when players are not home or travel for an away game, unlike this case. This is not the first a Barcelona player had to suffer a robbery. Gerard Pique, ansu Fati, coutinho in 2018 and Jordi alba have also been victims of these burglaries.

The Spanish police is still looking for the gang according to the reports as they haven’t been caught as of yet.
