Pakistani captain Babar Azam on Thursday took it to Twitter to share a special message for Virat Kohli. This message was to show his support towards the Indian batter struggling for form.

Virat Kohli last made a century in the international circuits in November 2019. Since then, he has been suffering from a severe lack of form. And an example of the same came in the second ODI played between India and England.

Owing to some excellent bowling, India was able to restrict England to the score of 246. However, India failed to chase the total and lost by a hefty margin of 100 runs.

While chasing in the second inning, Virat Kohli made 16 runs in 25 balls. For a moment in the game, he looked all set and rearing to go. He smashed three beautiful drives for four and looked more composed than ever. Yet somehow, he managed to nick a ball by Willey.

Following this, many critics and pundits questioned Kohli’s team position.

That is when Babar Azam tweeted a photo of him with Kohli. It was captioned, “this too shall pass. Stay strong.” This gesture of his was received with great regard by both Indian and Pakistan fans.

Especially considering the recent records that Babar broke recently that previously belonged to Kohli.

Recent years have seen a decline in Kohli’s run-scoring prowess. But on the contrary, Babar is enjoying a very good time out. In 2022 alone, Babar has played 6 matches in which he smashed 457 runs at an average of 91. In these six matches, he has scored 3 centuries and 2 half centuries.

Kohli has one last virtual opportunity to redeem himself on the 17th of July. India takes on England for the series decider in Manchester, and Kohli will play a crucial role in that match.
