Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang poised for Saudi move, as FC Barcelona rule out his return to the Camp Nou. Aubameyang has offers from Saudi and Europe as well.

After joining Chelsea from Barcelona last summer, he now wants to move away from the Stamford Bridge. Since his move to London has failed, the Gabon International has been linked with a return to Barca.

Chelsea paid around €12 million to sign Aubameyang from Barcelona last summer. They want to recoup some of the fees they paid for him, but there have been no bids for him.

However, the Catalan club wanted to sign him as Lewandowski’s back-up. He scored a 11 goals in 17 games during his six-month spell.

But, everything changed as Barca will now sign Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense. However, the doors to Saudi clubs are open for him as Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad, are ready to sign Aubameyang.

Aubameyang plans to leave Chelsea to join the Saudi Pro League

The Saudi Pro League has secured some big names from Europe who are in their latter stages for their career, they offer big contract packages to players as they want to become a major force in world football.

Al-Nassr signed Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United in January, whereas Al-Ittihad signed Ballon d’Or winner Karim Benzema.

Several players have been linked with a move to the Middle East, and Aubameyang is the latest player being linked with them.

City rivals Inter and Milan, along with Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, are also keen on former Arsenal striker. However, they cannot match wages that the Saudi’s will offer him.

The Blues have demanded a fee of €5 million for him, which the Saudi’s will pay to sign the striker. It will be interesting to see where Aubameyang moves in the summer.
