Ronaldo’s team however didn’t really require his presence on the field to save the day. They had a dominating performance against Spurs who look invincible this season.

Bruno Fernandes, and Fred were the two scorers for the Manchester United.

Even their manager lauded the players’ efforts in the game. “It was the best team performance so far this season,” said Ten Hag. “You see we are developing, but you see the last weeks how we want to play. We get better every time.”

Commenting on Ronaldo’s situation Ten Haag told Prime Videos: “I deal with that tomorrow. I want the focus to be on the performance of the team.”
