Saudi Arabia Grand Prix Preview: Charles Leclerc set to take a 10-place grid penalty

The second round of the Formula 1 grand prix is set to undertake at the Jeddha street circuit and it is a crucial race for all the teams as they set to solve their problems ahead of the race.

Jeddah Corniche Circuit looks set to provide the fireworks yet again after a thrilling Bahrain Grand Prix and all the teams will look to get their problems sorted out and hopefully get some points.

Going into the race Red Bull’s Max Verstappen looks set to continue from where he left at Bahrain and so does his team as they both lead in the constructors and drivers championships respectively. Aston Martin will also look forward to continuing their momentum with Fernando Alonso and Lance stroll looking good ahead of the race.

But some teams will look to sort their issues with Ferrari looking to sort their engine issues and their driver Charles Leclerc has already taken a grid penalty for a gearbox change for Mercedes the overall mood around their camp is not one of joyful mood.

Although their drivers drove a good race both of them have expressed a huge disappointment mainly at the performance of the car and will look to clear them at the race otherwise red bull will have another simple season.

About the race course

This is the 3rd time that F1 is racing in Jeddah and the last 2 races have produced high-octane races and drama for fans to not forget and looks like the trend should continue.

The Jeddah Corniche circuit is 6.175 km long (3.837 miles) and the race is for 50 laps the tire supplier Pirelli will bring C2 C3 C4 compounds being soft hard and medium.
