Reece James and Chillwell miss out as England announce squad for World Cup 2022; know details

The FIFA World Cup is just around the corner as the biggest competition in the world would being on 20th November in Qatar. With that in mind, all the teams that have qualified for the tournament have to submit their 26-man squad by this weekend and today Euro 2021 finalists England have named their roster.

This time out the Three Lions have been unlucky in the full-back areas as both their first-choice right and left fullbacks are injured who are Reece James and Ben Chilwell. Hence, Gareth Southgate has had a difficult selection this time and along with the fullbacks, there are some surprising names being left out of the squad with the likes of Fikayo Timouri and James Ward Prowse in the list. Here’s the full team:-
