No one would have predicted India to lose to England by ten wickets in the T20 World Cup 2022 semifinals after dominating their opponents throughout the tournament.
Hardik Pandya’s ability to keep the team in the game with his bat and in the field was the only bright spot for India despite their difficulties during the match.
With four fours and five sixes in his amazing 63 off 33 balls, the 29-year-old tortured England’s bowling lineup in the last overs. In reality, Hardik’s efforts were what got India to a respectable total of 168 for 6 in the 20 overs since they at one point in the game appeared unlikely to reach 150.
Pandya was seen energising the crowd while fielding and, despite overthrows and misfields when he bowled, he was clearly motivated to deliver when it counted.
Despite not being able to control the England hitters with the ball, he was able to win the Indians’ hearts by posting an encouraging message on Instagram following the semi-final loss.
Hardik also emphasised the advantages of forging close relationships with the other members of the team.
He continued by thanking the support team for their efforts and expressed his determination to win the crown.
