In an electrifying faceoff between the European champions Real Madrid and the Egyptian side, Al-Ahly in the Prince Mouley Abdellah Stadium, the Los Blancos emerged with a dominating victory of 4-1 to secure their position in the Club World Cup finals.
Madrid thrash Al Ahly in semifinals
Real Madrid not only dominated the scoreline, but also dominated the statistical frontiers and managed to keep most of the ball possession on their side.

However, Camavinga gave away a needless penalty to Al Ahly, and Ali Maaloul taking full advantage of it scored the lone goal for his side at the 65th minute.
The Los Blancos were not done with the game and would not be satisfied with just a one-goal difference victory. Rodrygo and Arribas scored two late goals in the extra time of 90+2 and 90+8 minutes, respectively, to give Madrid a 4-1 victory.
With this, Real Madrid have sealed their deal in the finals of the Club World Cup and are all set to face Al-Hilal in the finals on upcoming Saturday. Al Ahly on the contrary, would be going against Flamengo in the third-place playoff.
