Paris Saint-Germain President Al-Khelaifi Investigated for Kidnapping and Torture

In shocking revelation, Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi is being investigated according to the latest reports. The investigation is for alleged kidnapping and the torture of Tayeb Benabderrahmane, a Franco-Algerian lobbyist.

PSG president Al-Khelaifi under investigation

Previously a couple of months ago, Benabderrahmane had filed complaints against the PSG president where had accused him of torturing him in Qatar back in 2020.

The reason being claimed was that Benabderrahmane had possession of documents which contained some compromising information against the PSG boss Al-Khelaifi.

Now, an investigation has been launched into the provided information, and three French judges have been appointed to look into it.

Al-Khelaifi reacting to investigation against him

Al-Khelaifi reacted to the news earlier and stated that this was about professional criminals and that they have changed their lawyers more than they have changed their stories and lies. He also claimed it to be an ultimate media manipulation.

Al-Khelaifi stated that he couldn’t believe that so many people have believed in the lies and contradictions. He claimed that this was because of the media world we are in today, but he believed that justice will run it course.

Later he ended his conversation by saying that Al-Khelaifi did not have time to talk about petty professional criminals.

PSG president Al-Khelaifi’s confidential information

The confidential information on the PSG president is apparently related to wrongdoing by Al-Khelaifi in the awarding of the 2022 World Cup to Qatar and, according to reports, the awarding of the TV rights for the Middle East for 2026 and 2030 World Cups to BeIN Media, to which he is president.

Last year in June, the Swiss Federal Criminal Court has declared Al-Khelaifi to be innocent for the second time in accusations of accepting bribes and criminal mismanagement to award the broadcast rights of World Cup.

Al-Khelaifi has been under suspicion for these activities for quite some time and was previously also cleared of the charges in an initial trial held in 2020 by the Federal Penal Tribunal. However, the Public Ministry of the Confederation launched an appeal against the decision.
