Iconic footballer, Neymar Jr has found himself amidst latest controversy. According to latest reports, he has clashed with some of the Paris Saint-Germain teammates and was involved in fiery argument with PSG chief Luis Campos after their defeat to Monaco earlier on Saturday.
According to the sources, Neymar was very upset with the PSG duo of Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike, and has allegedly ratted out all his frustrations at the two players.
Neymar, Marquinhos unhappy with team’s performance
According another report from France, the players had returned to the dressing room after the match after which the PSG chief Campos had thrashed the players for not showing enough aggression on pitch.
However, after which, the likes of Marquinhos and Neymar were not happy with the criticism received from the PSG chief and had exchanged rough words with Campos.
After the defeat, the manager Galtier had also admitted that the Parisians lacked energy and intensity, and went on to say that it was the current state of the team and he could not hide behind that.
Galtier continued that the state of the team was strange but true, as bizarre as it sounded coming from the manager itself, it was the current reality of the squad.
Paris Saint-Germain have shown varying loopholes across every department this campaign and are in a desperate need of making a comeback in their next Champions League round of 16 clash against Bayern Munich.
Club’s star player Kylian Mbappe is currently out of owing to an injury and won’t be participating in their clash against Bayern, and with Neymar being a huge disappointment against Marseille, only time will tell how PSG’s fate unfolds.
