‘Mushkil kaam aap karo, aasan main kar lunga’: Irfan Pathan takes a dig at ICT’s new captain in a cryptic post

Team India defeated West Indies admirably in the third T20I to maintain its lead in the five-match series. Suryakumar Yadav was the player of the day, blasting a superb 83, and Tilak Varma also remained unbeaten on 49 in the 160-run chase.

Hardik Pandya-led team India outperformed the Windies in every department, defeating them by seven wickets to open its account. With a six, Indian captain Hardik Pandya gave his team the victory, however, despite the win, there was some criticism about Pandya’s decision to prevent Tilak from reaching fifty.

Indian youngster has made an impression with solid performances in three games while participating in his first international series. Tilak became the first Indian to accomplish the milestone in the first three T20Is on Tuesday after recording his third consecutive 30+ score. The athlete has also scored fifty points in the game before. But in the third T20I, Tilak—who had scored the most runs in both games—played second fiddle to an aggressive Suryakumar, who eventually went unblemished with one run left.

Irfan Pathan’s explosive ‘mushkil kaam aap karo, aasan main kar lunga’ dig divides internet

Irfan Pathan, a former India all-rounder, wrote a cryptic tweet that many assume is a dig at the Indian captain as criticism over Hardik’s six picked up steam on social media. “Mushkil kaam aap karo, Asaan kaam mein Kar leta hoo. Suna suna sa lagta hai suna suna… (You do the tough task, I’ll do the easy work. I’ve heard this before…) stated the tweet.

Many believed that Irfan targeted Hardik Pandya for being further down the order in his tweet, however, Irfan has yet to provide clarification as to who the comment was directed at. In reality, a lot of people connected the tweet to Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the former captain of India.

It’s important to note that Hardik typically bats at position five in T20Is. However, the all-rounder occasionally moves up to three or four in the Indian Premier League, where he captains Gujarat Titans.

Hardik, who also serves as the Indian ODI squad’s vice-captain, skippered the team in the second and third ODIs as Rohit Sharma decided to take a break. The series was ultimately won by India 2-1. In the forthcoming major competitions, like as the Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup, the all-rounder is anticipated to play a significant part for the team.
