After a great victory against England, the Indian team was greeted with another delight. They were visited by their former captain MS Dhoni. The player was seen interacting with youngsters, including Chahal, and Kishan, among others.

MS Dhoni has been a household name in Indian cricket. He is one of the best cricketing minds to have graced the game. Hence, players worldwide are in awe of his presence and tend to pick up his brain for advice.

Last year MS Dhoni was appointed as the mentor of the Indian team for the T20 World Cup.

Although he retired from the game, the post by BCCI shows that his charisma has not been dampened. Rather, it only tends to increase by the minute.

Dhoni retired from international cricket in 2019. But he has continued playing franchise cricket for Chennai Super Kings in IPL. He even won the 2021 edition of the tournament, which made him the oldest captain to do so.

India thumped England to win series

Coming to the match, it was a landslide victory for India in the second T20I. Just like the first match of the series, England failed to put up a fight while chasing.

Although they lacked the likes of Jonny Bairstow and Ben Stokes in the middle order. But they had a quite experienced top order in the form of captain Buttler, Jason Roy, Dawid Malan and Liam Livingstone to get the job done.

The lower order couldn’t support the failure of the top order. And England succumbed to a score of 121 in 17 overs. Buvvneshwar Kumar was the pick of bowlers for India. He picked two crucial wickets up front and one at the back to keep England in check.

Jasprit Bumrah and Yuzi Chahal did the rest of the work, who picked two wickets each. Resulting in India registering a comfortable victory by the margin of 49 runs.
