Mason Mount Makes Manchester United Debut in Pre-season Win Against Leeds

Recent hot-shot transfer, Mason Mount finally made his much-anticipated debut for the Premier League club, Manchester United. Erik ten Hag and his squad started off their pre-season schedule with a victory of 2-0 against Leeds in Oslo earlier.

The 24-year-old transfer from Chelsea who United purchased for a whooping £55million last month played only for the first 45 minutes of the match and left an impressive impression during his debut match.

The starting eleven that was chosen by Erik ten Hag was a squad that utilized both his experienced players and the youth, including Jadon Sancho, Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane who were joined by the prospective youngsters like Omari Forson and Kobbie Mainoo.

Before kickoff, a tribute was paid to the former Scottish Manchester United and Leeds defender Gordon McQueen. He passed away last month at the age pf 70 after a long battle with dementia.
