Manchester United Sale to Sheikh Jassim Date Confirmed

Manchester United and its sale by current American owners, the Glazer family fiasco has now stretched for about a year already. Finally, the deal of its sale has seemingly reached a conclusion with the Qatari politician Sheikh Jassim being rumoured to be the expected buyer by November.

As per the reports, the discussions and negotiations over the Premier League club had previously been delayed due to obvious reasons of many other potential purchasers; however, now as has been reported, both sides have reached favourable agreements of about a mammoth 6 billion pounds.

What is more shocking is the fact that the potential buyer of one of the biggest clubs in the world right now is the former Prime Minister of Qatar and is currently leading the race ahead of Sir Jim Ratcliffe as the announcement of the sale was made last November.

It is no secret that the Glazer family has been in the bad books of the United fans and viewers alike ever since they took over the club back in 2005, owing to their mismanagement of the club that led to the club’s cumulative debt cross over 1 billion pounds.

In addition to this complicated and long sale process, the Red Devils has also re-signed their shirt-sponsorship contract with their partner Adidas for another 10 years to come. This will make United eligible to grace their jerseys with the iconic stripes and logo of Adidas till 2034. This deal with Adidas which has been renewed is apparently worth 900 million pounds.

With all the looming financial pressure, Manchester United have also made a much-publicized transfer move accommodating their future needs with the signing of Andre Onana who has replaced their 12-year-long goalkeeper, David de Gea.
