After the long FIFA World Cup break, the club football has indeed returned with already showcasing some big results in the Premier League. And now that continues as on the last day of the year Liverpool Football Club will host their arch-rivals Leicester City at Anfield. Both teams are going into this game wth very contrasting results as on one hand, Jurgen Klopp’s side experienced a comfortable against Aston Villa by a score of 3-1. Whereas on the other hand. Brendan Roger’s team got demolished against Newcastle United at their home stadium by a scoreline of 3-0.

So this game is important for both sides as the Merseyside team would be looking to continue on their winning momentum and be back in the top 4. But the Foxes now have the chance to redeem themselves and if they manage to beat the Premier League giants, it would really be a statement win for them and possibly turn their season around.

Coming into this match, both teams have their own concerns cause for Liverpool they would be missing Luis Diaz and Diogo Jota which Klopp can replace. But Rogers would missing his sensational midfielder James Maddison and James is a player that cannot be replaced in the Leicester side. Hence, the quality that Liverpool has and the amazing crowd support that they’ll be receiving might just make them win this encounter.
