- Ruturaj Gaikwad 13 sixes
The Indian Opener and the find of the season 2021, Gaikwad has been in typical form in the start of the new season. And it doesn’t surprise anyone to see that Ruturaj already has most sixes in IPL 2023.
He is one of the batter to watch out for in every season. But this season he seems to be in a different form altogether. In his very first game against Gujarat Titans, Gaikwad played an exhilarating knock of 92 before he was dismissed. In that inning as well he managed to smash around 9 sixes to become the most six hitter in the season.
Then in the second game against LSG he continued his great form with the bat in hand and went on to smash 4 more sixes to take his tally to a total of 13 in just 2 games, which is phenomenal. It will be interesting to see how many sixes he ends up with at the end of the season.
2. Kyle Mayers 9 sixes
Another phenomenal batter on the list if Kyle Mayers of Lucknow SUper Giants. He too, just like Gaikwad has started the season with a bang. In the very first game against Delhi Capitals he scored a total of 73 runs in which he smashed a 7 sixes.
The second match against Chennai Super Kings was another show stopper where he smashed two more sixes.With his destructive batting he is certainty a candidate to become the batter with most sixes in IPL 2023.
Most Fours in IPL 2023 Overview
- Tilak Varma
Varma has been a player to watchout for since his Mumbai Indians debut. And it doesn’t come a surprise to find him at the top of the table with most fours in IPL 2023. Varma in his very first inning of 2023 IPL played a handy knock of 84 against RCB.
It helped his team reach a respectable total of 172, but RCB was able to chase it down quite comfortably. In that inning, Varma smashed a total of 9 boundaries to reach the top of the table.
2. Yashyasvi Jaiswal
The Mumbai Batter has seen some resurgance in the IPL in the past few seasons with Rajasthan Royals. And he certainly had a great start to his new season with fifty in the first game itself. In his inning of 54 runs against Delhi Capitals, Jaiswal managed to score 9 boundaries as well. And hence finde himself on the second position of the list of players with most fours in IPL 2023.
