Dimarco, Dzeko, and Martinez score for Inter

Dimarco had scored the opening early goal for Inter just 10 minutes into the match as he found himself unmarked in the box and straight up tapped in the cross given by Barella.

Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana gave a stunning performance as he nullified AC Milan Rafael Leao’s attempt at the equalizer after 16 minutes.

The next goal instead became another one from Inter to expand their lead after 21 minutes as Dzeko doubled their lead after netting the ball from inside the box into the bottom right corner.

The second goal from Inter had jolted AC Milan into waking from the dead as they started dominating possession and pushed Inter into playing defensive for a while but it all became futile as they failed to find an opening for a comeback goal.

Martinez later sealed the deal for Inter Milan in the 77th minute of the game as he netted an excellent curled shot to win Inter the Cup.

Disappointed AC Milan coach Pioli expressed how he had not expected this as he thought he knew the quality of his players, and consequently expected a more positive performance from their end.
