It occurred when the 33-year-old Welshman was playing for his nation at the global showpiece in Qatar during the end of November. Emma’s aunt and her family were utterly “shaken” after four masked men had intruded their home in North Wales while being armed with shotguns.

According to the sources, the masked raiders had invaded the property allegedly in search gold. One of them even demanded “Where’s the gold? We want the gold.”

The gang of intruders were told that there was nothing in the house and after that they allegedly ran away from the property being empty-handed. Only one of them has been arrested till now.

A police representative had earlier confirmed that a man, 28 years of age from the Barnsley area had been arrested on a suspicion of armed burglary. Although he had since been bailed, the police are continuing their hunt for the rest of the robbers involved.

Emma’s aunt had temporarily left the property after the incident had taken place according to a family insider source. They had also stated that Gareth Bale and Emma are shocked and really concerned that a gun was in usage to make these threats.

They also said that they didn’t know why Emma’s aunt was targeted in their search for gold, and that it has now left her aunt and family completely terrified.

Bale on retiring and future of Wales

Earlier, Bale who had appeared in all three of the World Cup matches played by Wales, it was being speculated that he could decide to retire after their disappointing performance and subsequent elimination from the tournament after suffering back-to-back defeats at the hands of England and Iran.

However, it seems that Bale has no intentions of retiring and quitting, he has instead continued to insist that he was hopeful to lead Wales’ Euro Cup 2024 campaign in the qualifiers. He also stated that just because they had a difficult tournament, it did not mean that it was end of an era, and that even though they were in a difficult moment now, they would go again and again.

“I’ll keep going as long as I can and as long as I’m wanted,” He added.
