Fans Accuse Premier League of being “Rigged” after Arsenal’s Late Win Against Bournemouth

Arsenal had made an amazing last-minute comeback victory against relegation threatened Bournemouth earlier.

This victory, however, has made fans think if the Premier League was rigged. The Premier League table toppers, Arsenal had found lagging behind only 10 seconds into the match after Philip Billing’s super early goal.

Fans think Premier League is rigged for Arsenal

The second half proved to be even worse for the Gunners after Marcos Senesi expanded the lead to 2-0 with a stunning header.

Arsenal made a comeback later in the second half with a goal from Thomas Partey in the 62nd minute, and later with another from defender Ben White, to make the scoreline 2-2 with only 20 minutes remaining till the final whistle.

However, the fans present in the stadium noticed an unusual gesture from the Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta to the fourth official who was announcing the six minutes of added time, Arteta had apparently gestured the fourth official to make it seven minutes.

Reiss Nelson’s goal was scored at the seventh minute of the extra added time and fans had caught up to that within no time and took to social media to react upon the revelation.

One of the fans were seen stating that Arteta was begging the official for +7 and hence the goal should not be counted.

Other fans started tweeting that the added time should have been 6 minutes but the referee connived with Mikel Arteta to make it seven minutes, it only could mean that they knew something we don’t.

Several other fans took to Twitter expressing their emotions that six minutes were officially added but Arteta got 7+ because he wanted to because of unreal corruption. Others accused the Premier League being rigged for Arsenal.
