Ex-Brazil Coach Tite Robbed on Streets of Rio; Thief Blaming for World Cup Failure

Tite, former Brazilian national team manager and coach, who had recently stepped down from his position in the team after Brazil’s disappointing exit from the World Cup has allegedly been robbed in the city of Rio.

According to the reports from Brazil, the former manager was outside walking early morning at around 6am when he was attacked by a thief.

Brazil former manager gets robbed

Tite was targeted and robbed of a chain he was wearing at the time, and later the attacker had surprisingly complained and shouted on him over Brazil’s disappointing elimination from the 2022 Qatar World Cup.

The manager is now 61-yaear-old and had been in his position to lead Brazil since 2016, he had also led the South American giants into a Copa American victory 3 years ago.

He returned to his homeland only a few days ago after leading the Brazilian lead into the quarterfinals of the World Cup.

However, Brazil failed to secure a record-breaking sixth World Cup trophy after being kicked out of the tournament by Croatia in a decisive penalty shootout.

These are the circumstances of heart-break which had led Tite to step down from his position.

Things have heated up quite a lot in his country after their arch-rivals Argentina emerged as the new world champions and this has made Tite’s situation much worse in his own homeland.

Although he did manage to escape the assault without any injury, this will surely make things even worse for him.

Earlier Paris Saint-Germain Brazilian superstar Neymar had paid his respects to Tite after his resignation, where he said,

“I knew you as a coach and knew that you were very good, but as a person you are great!
