Erling Haaland Scores 6th Hat-Trick; Man City 6-0 Burnley

Manchester City beast, Erling Haaland has scored his sixth hat-trick for City in the season as they have demolished Kompany’s Burnley in a shameful 6-0 defeat during the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.

Haaland showed another of his rutheless performers as he scored two goals in the first half of the match and pushed the sky blues towards fifth consecutive semifinals of the FA Cup.

This was Haaland’s second hat-trick in the week within 59 minutes of a match, right after his iconic five goals tally within 65 minutes in their clash against RB Leipzig.

The Norwegian goal machine has now scored a total of 42 goals in this season and the season has not even ended yet.

The pre-match buildup for the game had been about manager Kompany, who had previously won 10 major trophies with City in his star-studded playing career. He also has a statue of him right outside the Etihad.

As the match progressed, City had only managed one shot 30 minutes into the game. However, the signs of frustrations that City was showcasing were short-lived as Haaland changed the entire trajectory.

Haaland had been fed accurately by Alvarez right at the edge of the area, and scored a stunner at the 32nd minute of the match poking the ball beyond the goalkeeper.

The second goal from Haaland came exactly three minutes later as Foden became the assister after charging down the left, as his low ball in the area invited the fox in the box Haaland, who did not miss and lifted it neatly over the keeper at the 35th minute of the game.

It did not stop for Haaland’s mystics here as he completed his hat-trick by being present like always, at the right place, in the right time in the 59th minute of the match with a stunning rebound from Foden’s attempt at the post.

Pep Guardiola then decided to take the iconic Erling Haaland off the pitch in the 63rd minute of the match, making Haaland’s contribution a total of eight goals within just 126 minutes of playing time.
