Ousmane Dembele Out For 2-3 Weeks With Injury, Might Not Play Manchester United First Leg

After having a great season, new concerns are looming over Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez after his star player Ousmane Dembele has acquired an injury during their faceoff against Girona on Saturday where he was substituted off in the first half itself.

Ousmane Dembele injured yet again

Dembele had gone down holding his left leg and had urged to be substituted off the pitch, where Pedri was the one coming on for him.

The French international has had a shared history with injury concerns, but has been fit and fine without any physical issues since November 2021.

At the half time during the game, Barcelona had made a statement that that Ousmane Dembele was face quadriceps injury in his left leg and that tests would be carried out on him in order to look further into it when he returns back to Barcelona.

Dembele likely to miss Europa League clash against Man Utd

According to the reports, the injury does not look good for Dembele after he had limped off the pitch while returning to the bench and he is being expected to miss at least two or three weeks down the line.

After the stunning performances he has had this season for Barcelona, he had become a key player to their success and this injury means that he won’t be able to be fit in time for their Europa League first leg clash against Manchester United.

However, Xavi would probably be relieved because Robert Lewandowski would be back from suspension in time for their clash against Real Betis, but Dembele would definitely miss it as per the reports.

Dembele has been in a great form since the 2022 World Cup and has proven to be a key player for squad, assisting and scoring whenever he gets a chance either from the left or right, this might be a grave concern for Xavi.
