Casemiro Shown Red Card for Choking Palace player in United’s 2-1 win over Eagles in Premier League

Manchester United and ex-Real Madrid icon, Casemiro was dismissed from the pitch earlier because of his part in a rowdy 15-man brawl which involved both the teams as match and everyone’s temper got heated up.

The incident occurred on the game where United were playing against Crystal palace after a robust challenge from Jeffrey Schupp on Red man Antony. However, it was United’s Casemiro who ended up paying the price for the brawl.

United’s £70million summer signing was seen getting involved in a scuffle with Crystal Palace’s Will Hughes where he became so immersed in the brawl that he was seen grabbing the throat of his opponent, with a footage showing both of his hands around the neck.

In this ridiculous incident, the referee cross-checked it with the pitchside monitor after beinf encouraged by the VAR officials. And much to the anger and disappointment of United front, the referee pulled a red card for Casemiro deeming it as act of violent conduct.

Manchester United were cruising jubilantly after Fernandes’ opening goal at the 7th minute of the match, which was doubled at the 62nd minute by the iconic Marcus Rashford’s 19th goal of the season.

However, United hung on for dear life for the final 20 minutes of the match as they played as a 10-man squad with Casemiro sent off. Palace took advantage of this very situation of their extra man and snatched a goal back with Jeffrey Schlupp scoring at the 76th minute for Palace.

The Red Devils still managed to take home three points with their 13th consecutive victory at their home Old Trafford. Casemiro will be serving a 3-match ban for the red card unless United put an appeal against it. He will be missing their match against Leeds United and Leicester City.
