Brazilian Youngster Vitor Roque Feels “Ready to Play” For Barcelona

Athletico Paranaese striker and long-time Barcelona transfer target Vitor Roque has now turned 18-year-old, meaning that the player is now eligible to fly Europe and leave Brazil in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The teenage sensation has a big clubs warming around him to dye him in colours of their own, but Roque has made it clear that he wants to play for none other than Barcelona and is now ready to do so.

Quoting to the sources, Roque has stated that he felt ready to play for La Liga giants Barcelona.

The teenage sensation has said that after the interest that Barcelona has shown in him, he is even more focused on his game because it will be earning him his due rewards in time.

Roque stated that he tried to stay focused on day to day basis and always tried to give hid level best at Athletico and he thinks if he did his best [here], moving t Europe will be a possibility for him.

When he was asked if he felt special about Barcelona wanting the teenager at such a young age of 18, Roque responded by saying that indeed it made him feel special but he had to stay humble for everything to turn out well.

“Without work and without God none of this would be happening,” stated Roque in an assertive way.

He also admitted that playing for Barcelona was a dream for any player and that if he signed for Barca, his family and he himself would be overjoyed and that was why he kept working hard since he wanted everything to be sorted out.

The rising sensation also revealed that he follows the Barcelona and Poland icon, Robert Lewandowski for his great finishing ability, which according to Roque, is also the Polish captain’s main strength, adding that he followed Robert both at Bayern and now at Barcelona.

Roque also talked about Barcelona unearthing young talents for their squad who are big names already, Pedri and Gavi for example, has been an added motivation for the Brazilian since the club valued quality of the players above all.

Vitor Roque will likely be priced around €35-40 million including all variable in the upcoming summer window according to latest reports. Despite several other big clubs like PSG, Arsenal, etc. seeking him out, the youngster is focused on a move to Barcelona.
