Bayern score big to register first victory of 2023

Bayern Munich started the game with a flurry of activities from their attacking frontier, utterly demolishing the Wolfsberg defense in the desperation for their first Bundesliga victory of 2023.

Kingsley Coman scored the opening goal for Bayern only nine minutes into the game with an amazing cross. Coman was literally on fire and became a nightmare for the Wolfsburg fans at their home stadium giving his side an early lead.

Furious Bayern scores 3 goals within 10 minutes

Coman wasted no time in scoring his second goal at the 14th minute of the game and doubling Bayern’s lead with a well-finished volley thanks to the silky smooth set up. Thomas Muller took the goal tally to three-goal lead for Bayern as scoring his 148th goal.

Wolfsberg finally started their attempt at a comeback with their first goal in the match coming from Jakub Kaminski, a substitute who scored at the 44th minute before halftime his first Bundesliga goal.

Bayern’s Joshua Kimmech earned himself a red card for his heavy challenged on the Wolfsberg captain Maximillian Arnold and just like that Bayern were down to a 10-man squad.

Despite being down to 10-men, the 19-year-old Jamal Musiala broke through the already shattered Wolfs defense and made the scoreline a pitiful 4-1 at the 73rd minute of the match with a brilliant individual run, scoring his 75th Bundesliga goal.

However, Worlfsberg ran out of time and started gripping the game too late after Mattias Svanberg scored a consolation goal at the 80th minute, the second for the Wolfs. They became the team to put more shots at Bayern’s goal than any other team this season, but it was too late for a comeback.
