Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski Ansu Fati Involved in Dressing Room Argument After Man Utd Loss

Barcelona’s duo of Robert Lewandowski and Ansu Fati, according to insiders, were part of a huge argument in the dressing room after the Spanish team’s defeat to Manchester United previously on Thursday.

The La Liga giants were knocked out by Manchester United in the playoffs of the Europa League after losing the second leg at the Old Trafford, leading to the rising tempers at the dressing room after the full time whistle.

Lewandowski and Ansu Fati involved in argument

Barcelona had previously gained early lead in the second leg of the playoffs, after the first leg had ended in a draw, through a penalty netted by the Poland icon which was needlessly given away by Bruno Fernandes’ foul inside the box.

However, the Red Devils made a stunning comeback in the second half of the match as the tides shifted to their side after ten Hag substituted in Anthony, who scored the winning goal for United along with Fred’s opening goal for United, and Garnacho who also aided in the victory.

Lewandowski upset after Manchester United loss

According to latest reports, all this drama on pitch led to a heated dressing room brawl between Lewandowski and Fati which occurred immediately following their disappointing defeat of 4-3.

Apparently, the Polish international, whose penalty kick was almost saved by United keeper, David de Gea, expressed his anger towards Fati because he had gotten in the way of a crucial cross which had been intended originally for Lewandowski.

The confrontation between both has been reported to be “good-mannered” where Lewandowski had only expressed his grievances to his teammate, doing so behind the scene away from the camera as a show of good will.
