La Liga champions, FC Barcelona apparently have made an unexpected move during this summer transfer window as they put an interesting deal for Juventus in case the Italians are fully determined into signing Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie this transfer window.

According to the reports, the Italian Serie A club has been in contacts with the representatives of the Ivory Coast international in order to convince him to make a grand return to the Serie A once again.
It is no secret that Barcelona is currently struggling to make their ends meets, and hence, making a big signing to strengthen their hold is off the bats for now. So, making a back handed deal through a special proposal with clubs like Juventus is one of the ways to load their pockets for next season.
Barcelona has made public expressions about their interest in Juventus winger Federico Chiesa right before the faceoff between both clubs in America for their pre-season tours.
Hence, in a tactically made move the Catalan giants have made this sneaky proposal that in case Juventus think of including their talented attacker in their bid for Franck Kessie, they might consider the deal.

In this way, both the clubs involved will have their share of profits from the transaction. However, Juventus have been showing sign of hesitancy over the offer of a swap deal from Barcelona, and rightfully so owing to their previous experience of similar kind with the Catalans.
Back in 2020, Barcelona and Juventus had concluded a swap deal involving the exchange of Arthur Melo and Miralem Pjanic; however, the Italians faced more loses than gains as a result, which has them now rethinking making another blunder in the name of a swap deal and consequently, they are treading cautiously this time before engaging a similar arrangement.
Juventus have said that Kessie and Chiesa are not similar players who can be compared and hence this said request from Barcelona’s end is just an indirect way of them stating that their Ivorian midfielder was off the table and not for sale.
They have also said that if Barcelona truly want the inclusion of Chiesa, they have to put in a huge fee in their bid because he wasn’t a player who could be added as a sweetener to make a deal for a lower-quality player.
