Antony And Bruno Fernandes Clash on Pitch After Lashing Out Against Crystal Palace

Premier League giants, Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes and Antony found themselves at the center of an angry clash after the chance of claiming the second spot in the Premier League table slipped out of their hands.

The Red Devils headed to face off against Crystal Palace after nine consecutive victories across all competitions. After being only an inch away from their tenth, as Fernandes scored to give them a lead in the first-half itself.

However, an already winnable match slipped right past United as Michael Olise netted his fiery goal to score an equalizer for Palace at the 90+1 minutes of the game and left Erik Ten Hag side’s jaws dropped.

Earlier in the game, an incident of anger occurred between Antony and Fernandes as the ball went straight out of play for goal kick after a shaky pass from Antony at such an important match which could have placed United in the second rank in the Prem Table.

Bruno Fernandes, who had given the Red Devils their early lone goal had some fancy words in store for his teammate after the blunder. However, the Brazilian winger verbally lashed out on his Captain for the Day and was clearly seen saying “filha de puta”, which translates to English as “son of a b****”.

This was obviously not lightly sided by Antony, who briefly stared at his furious teammate. However, things were smoothened quickly after when both of them celebrated their hearts out after Fernandes gave United lead in the 44th minute.

However, United fans have seemingly taken this incident positively and have stated that this was a good sign instead. They have claimed that this just proves that they players care about actually winning the games and moving up the table and that there was nothing unusual.

The Red Devils are all set to clash against the table toppers of this season, Arsenal on Sunday.
