ACE Championship: Electric Racing Series to Debut in India with Revolutionary Car Design
The ACE Championship, an electric feeder series, was announced in Hyderabad and promises to be a game-changer in the world of motorsports. With two levels of racing – the top-tier ACE Championship and the entry-level Challenger Series – the same car will be utilized in both categories, making it the first championship of its kind in the world.
Unique Features of the ACE Championship
One Car, Two Championships:
Each team can have two different drivers in both the ACE Championship and ACE Challenger series, driving the same car but with different power levels.
LED Technology:
The prototype shown in Hyderabad featured LED components on the bodywork, wheel rims, etc. that will be used to provide more information about the car during the race.

Launch in India and Race Schedule
The ACE Championship plans to launch in India with the 2024 Hyderabad E-Prix being targeted. The series calendar is planned to be 10 weeks long with 6 rounds. Each race weekend will consist of two races. The rounds will be held on regional circuits with the aim of bringing the championship to underrepresented areas in existing championships.
Training Ground for Young Drivers and Engineers
The ACE Championship targets to train drivers and engineers. It aims to offer representation for those who have an interest in driving but have not had the chance. The championship offers a chance for these individuals to level up in their careers. Former F1 and Formula E driver Nick Heidfeld is an advisor and development driver for the ACE Championship. He aims to make the championship fair, affordable, and accessible to young drivers globally.
