Toni Kroos extends his contract with Real Madrid until 2024

Toni Kroos extends his contract with Real Madrid new contract will be valid until 30 June 2024.

The midfielder was out of contract at the end of this month but will now stay at the club for at least another year.

Kroos arrived at Real Madrid from Bayern Munich and is already the most capped German player for Los Blancos. Kroos has also won four Champions Leagues, five Club World Cups and three La Liga titles with Los Blancos.

As per a report from Diario AS, Kroos said, “I have to ask the club when they are going to announce my renewal because I have to go on vacation at some point!.”

Real Madrid have announced the deal to extend Kroos’ contract in an official statement.

“Real Madrid CF and Toni Kroos have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains linked to the club until June 30, 2024.”

“Toni Kroos arrived at Real Madrid in 2014 and is already the German player who has defended the shirt the most times of our club, with 417 matches.”

“In his nine seasons as a Real Madrid player, he has won 20 titles: 4 Champions League, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 3 Leagues, 1 Copa del Rey and 3 Spanish Super Cups,” read the statement.

The 33-year-old also won the World Cup with Germany before joining Real Madrid in the summer. Last season Kroos helped Madrid in winning the Copa del Rey. They also reached the Champions League semi-final, but they were thrashed by Man City.
