It is now indeed confirmed by Brentford Football club that their coach Thomas Frank has extended his contract with the Premier League side until 2027. Frank joined the club back in 2016 as an assistant coach and due to his persistent hard work and phenomenal quality he was promoted as the head coach of the Bees in 2018. Thomas Frank signs contract extention with Brentford

After the announcement of the contract extension, Frank said, “Being a head coach at a club is like a relationship; there are highs and lows. I have been here six years in total, which is a long time in modern football, and I’d like to say thank you to the fans for the support you give us – the players, the staff, everyone involved with the club.

“The warmth, support and kindness every time I meet a Bees fan has been amazing, and it gives me extra energy to continue the work going forward. We attacked the Premier League in the first season and we’re attacking it in our second season. I’m looking forward to hopefully continuing our progress and creating more magic moments together.”

This season his club are performing extremely well cause at the moment they are currently 10th in the Premier League table by managing to score 19 points in 15 games, courtesy of their 4 wins and 7 draws.

Throughout this season they have had some sensational results too against the big teams cause the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea haven’t been able to defeat Frank’s men.

The most incredible win that could be considered would be against Erik Ten Hag’s men cause when United came to Brentford, Frank’s players pulled off something unthinkable as they finished the game in the first half by going 4-0 up and eventually winning that match by this scoreline.

And they ended their last match before the World Cup break, by winning against the defending champions Manchester City at the Etihad stadium. Now their match after the break is against Tottenham Hotspur at home on Boxing Day.
