Suryakumar Yadav is enjoying his time off the field after the tour of West Indies. The batter’s next assignment will be the Asia Cup in Sri Lanka if he gets a chance to play as he has been picked alongside Tilak Verma who impressed everybody with his batting in the T20I series against West Indies. The chances of Surya getting a chance in the Asia Cup are quite slim with almost all the first-choice players fit and available except for KL Rahul as the keeper batter is said to be carrying a niggle and if he is not able to recover on time for India’s first match the only like for like replacement available in the squad is Ishan Kishan which means that Surya might only get a chance when any batter other then Rahul is injured.

Surya is quite active on social media these days which is evident by the fact that he has been posting funny comments on stuff posted by his colleagues. The latest one is his humorous trolling of former Indian captain Virat Kohli as the latter was seen running for an ad shoot with his wife and Indian actress Anushka Sharma. Surya trolled Virat for his running technique “Bhaiya thoda running technique halka padra hai apka (Brother, your running technique is a little out of way),” Yadav commented.

Talking about comments how can we forget comments made by Pakistani players? In a recent comment, Aqib Javed compared Virat and Babar and said that Babar is slightly better than Kohli because he is consistent. In the words of Aqib “Kohli’s seasons are amazing. If in one season he is amazing, another could be a decline. He is not as consistent as Babar Azam,” Javed said on the YouTube channel Events & Happenings Sports. This is not the first any former Pakistani player has said something of this sort about an Indian player Abdul Razzaq the former Pakistani all-rounder called Jasprit Bumrah a ‘baby bowler’ while comparing him with Shaheen Afridi.
