Sean Dyche has a surprising clause in his Everton contract as it protects himself from being sacked

Everton is close to appointing Sean Dyche as the new manager of Everton football club this weekend. Dyche would be the direct replacement and successor of Frank Lampard after he was sacked a few days ago.

Although Sean wasn’t the first choice manager for the board of the Merseyside team as they had first approached the Argentine Marcelo Bielsa, but he turned down the chance to manage them.

Beisla turned down Everton Job

He had clearly stated that he could only take full charge in the summer, but Everton couldn’t wait till that time as they are currently in the relegation zone and they had to sort out their problems immediately.

Marcelo also had stated that he would only manage the under-21 team until the summer in order to analyse the players cause he was concerned whether the footballers would be able to accept his way of coaching, but that was too rejected by Everton.

Now that Dyche is set to be appointed, it is belived that he’ll sign a contract until 2025 which is worth around 5 Million Euros. However, there is a clause in his deal which states that he will either dodge the sack even if Everton get relegated or the board will have to pay up the remainder of his deal.

Dyche will return to Premier League as he was sacked by Burnley in April 2022 after he managed the club for 10 long years. He surely has experience in the relegation zone fight as he had managed to pull Burnely away from getting relegated on the last days of the Premier League for many years until this last campaign.

Hence this was the reason he was sacked. His first game back in the Premier League will be an astonishing match at home against the league leaders Arsenal football club next Saturday.
