Sanju Samson shares cryptic post after being ignored for ODIs against Australia, Irfan Pathan Reacts
Sanju Samson was once again passed over by the selection committee for the forthcoming three-match ODI series against Australia. Many commentators and fans were perplexed to see him skip the series.
Due to rest for the series, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Kuldeep Yadav, there were open positions in the lineup for the first two ODIs. Samson, who has a respectable ODI record, was passed up in favor of Tilak Varma and Ruturaj Gaikwad.
On Tuesday, Sanju Samson responded to the snub with a post on his official Instagram account. He published a picture of himself from a recent ODI match and wrote:
“It is what it is !! I choose to keep moving forward.”

Irfan Pathan, a former Indian all-rounder, delivered an intriguing comment on Monday in response to India’s team announcement for the three-match series against Australia.
Two different teams were chosen by the side led by Rahul Dravid to compete in the Australia series. Samson’s name vanished from both teams as youthful players Ruturaj Gaikwad, Prasidh Krishna, and Washington Sundar were picked up for the first two ODIs against Australia.
“If I’m in place of @IamSanjuSamson right now I will be very disappointed…,” tweeted ex-cricketer Irfan after India’s squad announcement on X, formerly known as Twitter.

For first two ODIs: KL Rahul (c), Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, Ishan Kishan, Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Shardul Thakur, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj, Mohammed Shami, Tilak Varma, Prasidh Krishna, R Ashwin, Washington Sundar.
