Sadio Mane in talks with Saudi club Al-Nassr

Bayern Munich forward Sadio Mane is in talks to join SPL club Al-Nassr. Mane has accepted to negotiate the terms of his move.

Mane joined Bayern Munich last summer from Liverpool for £35 million on a three-year deal. He was brought as a replacement for departing Robert Lewandowski.

Al Ettifaq manager Steven Gerrard wanted to sign Mane, but he has now started talks with Al-Nassr.

The fall of Mane at Bayern Munich

After he joined Bayern last summer, everyone expected him to perform well, like he did with Liverpool. However, everything went against Mane, he only scored seven goals in 25 appearances in all competitions for the club.

Moreover, he was involved in a physical altercation with teammate Leroy Sane following a Champions League loss. He then apologised to his teammates for his behaviour and paid a fine.

In May, Bayern decided to transfer list him, however Mane never wanted to leave the club. Bayern have since tried to convince him to join the Saudi club.

The Bavarian giants will not recoup £35million that they paid for him last year. But they will look to bring in a sum as close to that as possible. They want this deal to be completed quickly, and after that, they will focus on signing Harry Kane from Spurs.

Bayern flop Sadio Mane ready for Al-Nassr move

The Saudi club have already signed the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined them from Man United in January. Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan and Seko Fofana from Lens have also joined the club. Moreover, they are also looking to sign Portuguese fullback Alex Telles.

It is also reported that Mane may have had a conversation with Cristiano Ronaldo and that he convinced Mane to join him at Al-Nassr.

However, the Senegalese international will first join Bayern Munich on their pre-season tour, where the Bundesliga winners will face Manchester City next.
