Rishabh Pant made a lively appearance at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium during India training session on the eve of the third and final T20I against Afghanistan.

Dressed in a black t-shirt and shorts, Pant exuded energy and camaraderie as he engaged in light-hearted banter with Virat Kohli. The two players were seen playfully tugging at each other’s shirts, accompanied by bursts of laughter. While Pant participated in shadow-practicing with a bat, there were noticeable signs that he might not be entirely comfortable walking, displaying a slight hobble.

In a dramatic and alarming twist of fate, Rishabh Pant miraculously survived a harrowing car crash in December 2022, narrowly avoiding a potentially fatal incident. The aftermath of the accident left the star player with sustained injuries, leading to his absence from the cricketing scene for over a year.

Undeterred by the setbacks, Rishabh Pant has displayed unwavering determination and resilience in his road to recovery. Despite facing a challenging period of rehabilitation, he is now steadfastly working towards making a triumphant return to the cricket field.

The talented cricketer’s journey, marked by adversity and perseverance, has garnered considerable attention, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his comeback. As Rishabh Pant navigates his way through the recovery process, the cricketing community remains hopeful for his successful return to the sport he passionately represents.

The 26-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman has been undergoing rehabilitation at the BCCI’s National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, recovering from a car accident that occurred just over a year ago. In the accident, Pant suffered tears in all three key ligaments of his right knee, leading to three reconstructive surgeries. Despite his ongoing recovery, Pant has been actively sharing glimpses of his training on social media.

Anticipation surrounds Pant’s return to competitive cricket, slated for IPL 2024 with the Delhi Capitals. The extent to which he resumes his role as a wicketkeeper-batsman remains uncertain. Pant previously attended a Capitals camp in Kolkata in November and was part of the team contingent at the IPL 2024 auction held in Dubai in December. His presence and activities continue to fuel speculation about his comeback and the form in which he will make his return to the cricketing arena.
