MS Dhoni and Notable Dignitaries Invited to Ayodhya’s Ram Temple Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

Former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, along with archer Deepika Kumari and folk singer Mukund Nayak, has received an invitation to attend the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22. A total of 16 distinguished individuals from Jharkhand, including political leaders and cultural icons, are among the esteemed guests.

Invitation Presented by RSS Functionary

Senior RSS functionary Dhananjay Singh personally handed over the invitation to MS Dhoni at his residence in Ranchi. The invitation, extended on behalf of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, was presented in the presence of BJP organising secretary Karmaveer Singh.

Speaking about the invitation, Mr. Singh mentioned, “We handed over the invitation card to him (Dhoni) on behalf of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22.” Dhoni and his family members expressed their joy upon receiving the invitation.

Apart from MS Dhoni, the guest list includes prominent figures such as senior BJP leader Karia Munda, Padma Shri awardee Mukund Nayak, accomplished archer Deepika Kumari, and AJSU Party chief Sudesh Mahto. A total of 69 individuals from the sage fraternity in Jharkhand have also been extended invitations for the significant ceremony.

National Representation at the Ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla at the temple on January 22. The ceremony is expected to witness approximately 7,000 attendees, including around 100 representatives from abroad, according to Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) national spokesperson Vinod Bansal.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony at the Ram Temple holds immense significance, symbolizing the consecration and installation of the idol of Lord Ram. This event marks a historic milestone in the construction and completion of the temple, a project that has garnered widespread attention and support.
