Mourinho threatens to take legal action after Red Card against Cremonese in Roma’s Loss

Jose Mourinho, the “Special One”, is into the limelight once again, after referee showed him a red card after his team’s Serie A clash against Cremonese. The lowly ranked Cremonese cruised past Roma, with a 2-1 victory which helped them to rise to the 19th position, although being in the relegation zone.

Mourinho’s side was huge favorites in the game, but they were shocked by Cremonese at Giovanni Zini Stadium. It was evident that the match would end up in a stalemate after Leonardo Spinazzola cancelled out Frank Tsadjout’s shock opener. But the match had more to offer as it was Daniel Ciofani who hit the winning strike, scoring from the spot in the dying minutes of the game.

“The Special One”- in the limelight for wrong reasons

Mourinho was sent off just after half time after engaging in a trifle with the fourth official, Marco Serra.

He was furious after the match, and threatened to take legal action.

“I am emotional, but not crazy. In order to react the way I did, something had to happen first. I need to understand if I can take any legal action. Piccinini gave me a red card, because unfortunately the fourth official does not have the capacity to understand what he said to me.

“I want to find out if there is an audio recording. I don’t want to get into the fact that Serra is from Turin and on Sunday we are playing against Juventus.

“For the first time in my career, a fourth official spoke to me in the most incredible way. It was unjustifiable. At the end of the game, I went to speak to them. Piccinini, who was the fourth official in the last game when I was sent off, told me to apologise to Serra. I told Serra he should have the courage to explain what happened, but he had memory problems.”

Mourinho, not a new one while being sent off

He is not new in this field of being sent off, as previously also, he was red-carded for engaging in quarrel or trifles with referees in various occasions.
