Mason Greenwood Update: United Holds First Face-to-Face Talk with Star After Dropped Charges

Mason Greenwood, the Manchester United prodigy, who had been in the limelight for suspected wrong reasons, will have his first meeting with the club officials, as it has come to knowledge that in spite of the Court declaring him free of any rape allegations, the club wants to probe an internal investigation.

The 21-year old striker and his officials have already met the club’s senior legal representatives prior to Manchester United’s Europa league clash with Barcelona. He was cleared of any rape, assault and coercive behavioral prosecutions, but the club wanted to launch an internal investigation.

The England international believed that after dropping of charges by Crown Prosecution service, he might get a shot at playing the remainder of the season, but it seems that he has to wait for a longer duration as he remains suspended until the probe is completed.

Mason Greenwood holds first talk with Man United

A source close to the Red Devils was quoted,”  Mason and his team met with the club to start the process of trying to get to the bottom of exactly what may or may not have happened.

“It is an extremely sensitive situation and the club think it is only fair that Mason is given the opportunity to fully explain himself.

“The club are keen to hear his version of events. Only when they have the full picture, can they start to move things forward.”

Maybe the club needs a clearer picture to allow him for further play, but a talent like Mason might get squandered as he is being kept waiting for some unknown duration.

Opposites revolting his return?

It has come to knowledge that the women club’s stars are perturbed by his return to training as they seem it is a violation of a woman.

Greenwood is looking for prospects in an abroad club if he is dropped by his present club.
