Mario Gotze makes return, Reus misses out as Germany announce World Cup squad; Know details

The FIFA World Cup is just around the corner as the biggest sporting competition in the world will begin on 20th November in Qatar. And the international sides that have qualified for the tournament must submit their 26-man squad list by this weekend and now the 2014 World Cup winners Germany have named their roster that’ll fly to Qatar.

Marco Reus miss out

There are some players who are playing their last world cup with the likes of Manuel Neuer, Thomas Muller and Gundogan on the list. Hansi Flick have selected some surprising names as the man who scored in the World Cup final against Argentina is back in the squad after 5 years as Mario Gotze will be with the team. He has also selected youth sensation Youssoufa Moukoko to represent the European giants.

Here’s Germany’s World Cup squad:

Goalkeeper: Manuel Neuer, Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Kevin Trapp

Defenders: Armel Bella-Kotchap, Matthias Ginter, Christian Günter, Thilo Kehrer, Lukas Klostermann, David Raum, Antonio Rudiger, Nico Schlotterbeck, Niklas Süle
