Marcus Rashford Clears Off Rumours Circulating About Huge Salary Negotiation With Man Utd.

Marcus Rashford is currently in the best form of his career under Ten Hagg and has found the net 27 times this season. His contract was recently extended by a year after the club activated a one-year extension clause in his current deal.

Marcus Rashford will enter the final 12 months of his contract at Manchester United at the end of this season. Manager Erik Ten Hagg shows great trust in him and the club will make it their prime priority to tie their talisman down to a long-term deal.

Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported that United were planning on accelerating their efforts to convince Rashford to commit his prime years to the club.

Rashford Shuts Down Rumors Circulating

Speculations had started that Rashford has demanded a sizeable rise in his current wages but Man Utd Number 10 has closed them off on on social media.

In response to a tweet claiming Rashford was seeking a whopping £500,000 per week salary, which would comfortably make him the highest earner at the club, the 25-year-old stopped the report in its tracks, claiming it was ‘nonsense’.

Also, another report was raised saying that Rashford had rejected a huge offer from PSG last summer but he rejected to stay with Man Utd, with the process of rebuilding the club to top levels.

Ten Hagg Trusts Rashford And Expects Contract Extension

Rashford has quickly emerged as one of Erik ten Hag’s most important players and it is absolutely paramount that the club is able to convince the England star to extend his contract.

With two months remaining of the season, it is likely that any advanced talks will be put on hold until the campaign is wrapped up, with United still competing on three fronts after winning the Carabao Cup. But it is quite clear that Rashford is happily doing great under Ten Hagg and may opt to extend his contract at United where he started off his career.
