They kept on creating chances and taking shots till the 70th minute when Sancho received a minus ball from Antony and was one on one with the goalkeeper with defenders rushing towards the goal.

Sancho dodged the keeper and took a shot for an open goal but Willian appeared in the scene and blocked a shot for which he was red-carded for handball. Bruno converted the penalty and brought United back in the game.

Soon after the game was 1-1, Sabitzer gave United the lead in the 76th minute with a backheel goal after a cross from Luke Shaw who received a through layoff from Sancho. There was no getting back for the 9 men Fulham after Bruno blasted a shot into the net in the added time.

Three Red Cards For Fulham

All the ruckus started 70th minute after Willian blocked a shot from Sancho for an open goal. When the referee went towards the monitor for a VAR check for handball and a red card, Fulham’s manager Marco Silva threw words at the referee for which he was shown a red card.

The check was completed by the ref and he returned to the pitch and showed another red card to Willian for the handball. Unhappy with the referee’s decision, Mitrovic blasted off at the ref and shoved him, for which he received a red card and a third for Fulham on the night.
