The Premier League continues on it’s action at the weekend and this time out the defending champions Manchester City will host Aston Villa at the Etihad stadium. Now coming into this game both teams have lost their last match in the league and hence both of them would be looking to redeem themselves and get back on the winning momentum. They have their own situations in the table as on one hand, Guardiola’s men are in the title race with Arsenal and are currently 5 points behind them as the Gunners drew agains Brentford and dropped a couple of points. So now City have the advantage to close the gap and for Villa, they would be looking to gain European football next season as they are in 11th place.

In this match, Manchester City definitely are the rightful favourites due to the quality and squad depth that they have, but beating Villa won’t be that easy cause the last time they came at the Etihad, they made things difficult as City had made a comeback after going 2 goals down. But the stakes are too high for City in this game as if they want to win the PL title, every game is important for them and especially the home one’s where they’ll be receiving incredible home crowd support. All in all, it would be an interesting game.
