Now both teams haven’t had the best of seasons as currently are in the mid-table with Liverpool taking the 9th spot and Chelsea taking the 10th spot. This is surely drastic as in the last campaign, both of them were battling it out to finish in the top 4 and in this campaign, they are struggling to get in the places for European football.

However, coming into this encounter, both have had good results as Klopp’s men won against Wolves in their last game and Potter’s team managed to pass the test of Crystal Palace by winning from a narrow margin of 1-0. So both of them would be looking to continue on that winning momentum which could help them turn thier season around.
