Ex-BCCI chief selector Chetan Sharma, who resigned from the post in February after being caught in a sting video operation, posted a cryptic tweet.

Chetan Sharma has been utterly ignored by the BCCI since February 2023 and has been completely removed from the BCCI’s plans. The former chair of selectors posted an impassioned message on his Twitter account at midnight on May 18, claiming that his life had been extremely difficult and that his loved ones had failed to offer him any hope.

“Life has been very tough so far. No hope from your near & dear. Hope Mata Rani bless me…..,” he tweeted.

Chetan Sharma, former chief selector for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), resigned after being captured in a sting speaking disparagingly about Indian cricketers.

Sharma’s resignation was announced via a tweet from the news organisation ANI. According to ANI, Sharma submitted his resignation to BCCI Secretary Jay Shah, who accepted it.

After the sting operation where he reportedly disclosed shocking information regarding Indian cricketers, the former Indian pacer came under fire.
