Kyle Walker: Manchester City skipper pulled apart from Fluminense star Felipe Melo in trifle in City’s Club World Cup triumph

Manchester City have completed their trophy-winning spree after a harmonious 4-0 win against Brazilian heavyweights Fluminense. Argentine World Cup winner Julian Alvarez was the hero of the night at Saudi Arabia, when he scored a brace, thus completing football at the tender age of 23. but it was Kyle Walker and Felipe Melo who grabbed the headlines after a furious bust-up which took the limelight away from Manchester City’s victory.

Manchester City have grabbed the headlines once again as Pep Guardiola’s side reigned supreme over Brazilian counterparts Fluminense in Club World Cup final, thus completing the quintuple, a rare feat achieved by any coach during his managerial stint. It was Argentine World Cup winner Julian Alvarez who was at the spotlight once again after a humongous performance at the final, scoring an eye-catching brace, which included the fastest goal in the history of Club World Cup, followed by last-minute goal which sealed the deal for Cityzens. A Foden masterclass was enough to see Fluminense off in an intense counter which involved attacks from both sides, but banking on their attacking options sans Haaland and De Bruyne, Pep Guardiola’s men went all guns blazing to secure their inaugural Club World Cup victory.

A furious bust-up between Walker and Melo

But, despite City winning the tournament, it was a trifle which captured the limelight from their victory, as skipper Kyle Walker was involved in a furious trifle with Brazilian counterpart Felipe Melo, as tensions boiled after the game between two seasoned veterans.
