James Maddison ruled out of Liverpool clash with Knee injury

It has been the worst start back after the FIFA World Cup break for Brendan Roger’s Leicester City as in their first match they were absolutely destroyed by Newcastle United at the King Power Stadium by a scoreline of 3-0. And the disaster continued after the game too as Rogers confirmed that his sensational midfeider James Madisson is still injured and he will even miss the important clash against Liverpool Football club.

Brendan Rogers thoughts on Maddison’s injury

Maddison has not played for the Foxes since returning from England World Cup duty, having picked up yet another injury in his knee. In the post match conference, the Leicester coach gave an update about the injury by stating, “It’s a different part of his knee, He obviously had a problem with the back of his knee; now he has something at the front. This is something that has come from indirectly having an issue while he was away. He is just feeling something on the front of his knee that the medical team are trying to get to the bottom of.”

But the most damaging part for the City supporters is that he didn’t confirmed the expected date by which the midfielder will be back, but luckily apart from Liverpool, the Foxes won’tt be playing big teams in the month of January.

Before his injury, Maddison was surely one of the best players in his team as he was the forefront to help the Foxes come out of the relegation zone and now getting them up to 13th.

This season he has scored 7 goals which is simply incredible for a midfielder and he has also provided 4 assists in the process. Hence, to replace him would be the most difficult task for the coach and he would be hoping that James returns as soon as possible.,
