In a thrilling finale at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Chennai Super Kings secured their fifth IPL title by defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets. The high-stakes match witnessed an extraordinary performance by Sai Sudharsan, who powered Gujarat Titans to a massive total of 214/4 in the first innings. However, rain interruptions during Chennai Super Kings’ innings resulted in a revised target of 171 in 15 overs.

Chennai Super Kings clinched the coveted Winner title, taking home a prize money of 20 crore. Meanwhile, Gujarat Titans, the runners-up, received a prize money of 12.5 crore. Shubman Gill, with his outstanding performance of scoring 890 runs, earned the Orange Cap and a prize money of 10 Lakh. Mohammed Shami’s remarkable display of bowling prowess earned him the Purple Cap, along with 28 wickets and 10 Lakh in prize money.

The season also recognized the Emerging Player of the Season, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who received a prize money of 10 Lakh. Glenn Maxwell was honored as the Super Striker of the Season, Shubman Gill as the Most Valuable Player and Game Changer of the Season, and Faf du Plessis for hitting the Longest Six. Rashid Khan’s exceptional catch was crowned as the Catch of the Season.

Other accolades included the Fairplay Award, which went to Delhi Capitals, and the Best Pitch and Ground of the Season, awarded jointly to Eden Gardens and Wankhede Stadium, with a prize money of 50 Lakh.
