Chahal revealed his plans against SRH

Rajasthan Royals leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal revealed his plans against SunRisers Hyderabad , saying that he just backed his strengths instead of doing anything new.

Chahal returned with the figures of 4/17 in his four-over quota. On the back of his spell, Chahal became the first Indian to take 300 wickets in T20s and equalled Lasith Malinga’s record for the second-most IPL wickets.

When asked about his tussle with Brook, Chahal said: “My plan was to vary my pace and bowl stump to stump. It is always my strength. I am doing nothing new and I am just backing my strengths.”

“We will see when I get five wickets or anything, hopefully something new will come,” added Chahal on equalling Malinga’s record.

Chahal also heaped praise on Royals’ top-order for giving the side a dream start.

“The way we got the start in the batting, the way Jos and Yashasvi battedâ€æwe knew 200 was a good score on this wicket,” said Chahal.

Chahal and Trent Boult made early inroads to dent SRH’s run chase. Although the win was out of SRH’s hands, Abdul Samad and Umran Malik entertained their fans in Hyderabad with their quick fire knocks.
